'Crosscheck' is Sime Darby Plantation's major step forward in our journey to creating a deforestation-free supply chain. It is an open source online tool that is available to everyone.

We believe the frontier to halting deforestation is traceability. 'Crosscheck' allows us to trace to supply back to its source, making it possible to identify where problems exist - and take action. Please refer below for our 'Working with Suppliers to Draw the Line on Deforestation’ policy statement.

We value your feedback. Try our 'Crosscheck' tool today and let us know how we can improve it further.

Latest policy statement for suppliers

As the world’s leading supplier of certified sustainable palm oil, Sime Darby Plantation has been consistently finding ways to strengthen our commitment to achieve a sustainable supply chain and end deforestation in the palm oil industry.

Understanding the need to work holistically within our sphere, Sime Darby Plantation has come up with a policy statement for our suppliers that require them to meet the No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation (NDPE) standards that we adhere to.

The policy makes clear the action Sime Darby Plantation will take when an issue is identified and maps out the remedial action that non-compliant suppliers will have to undertake should they breach the NDPE standards.
